On safari

Safari is Apple’s newest foray into web browsers (remember CyberDog?) and although it shows alot of promise it ignores far too many recent productive advancements in Chimera, Netscape, and Internet Explorer.

It is wickedly fast, but I’d miss tabs, autofill, accurate CSS rendering, bookmark import/export, etc. too much to make it my main browser at this point.

Let’s hope that when it gets out of beta some of these issues have been resolved. And lets admit that no current browser except Netscape currently has all the features I’m looking for and we all know what a pig that is.

Ug.. I was so looking forward to Safari, but I'm really dissapointed with how it renders CSS. Most of the sites I build heavily rely on it -- I was so emberassed when I loaded up a site I was working on for a client in Safari -- tables completely blown out...
