Needed to take a couple of weeks of paternity leave after the arrival of the beautiful Emily Lilli on March 5th. I’m still kind of shell-shocked by the indescribable feeling of having a baby — something that certainly wasn’t visible on my horizon just a couple of years ago. Yet, my blissed out sleeplessness is physical proof every moment that I’m not just dreaming.

I had the builders put in one squeaky stair tread in our new, under construction house next door. Just in case she takes after her parents as a teenager.
